Patient Care Coordinator

Barrineau Family and Cosmetic Dentistry is seeking a full-time Patient Care Coordinator. Our office is focused on providing an outstanding dental experience with our compassionate approach to patient centered dental care. This position serves an essential role regarding patient engagement, to help manage treatment needs and related care information. This Care Cordinator provides patients with their first impression of our office as well as the opportunity to initiate a relationship with our patients, enhancing the quality of care provided. Our office is a beautiful, state of the art practice in Gulf Breeze, Florida.

Suggestions to Necessary Skills:

Previous dental experience is preferred

Excellent communicator who is well organized

Able to multitask and provide quality work with attention to detail

Self-directed individual who can effectively use and manage their time

Customer service driven and a positive team contributor

Motivated individual with a strong willingness to learn and grow

Proficiency with computers and technology preferred

Suggestions to Job Duties:

Book and manage appointments to maximize provider schedules

Confirm and enter patient registration information

Verify and file insurance claims with supporting documentation

Assist with processing referrals to other dental specialists

Greet patients and answer phone

Check patients out and collect balances owed

Process end of day reports and duties

Suggestions to Experience Section:

Experience with dental software/Dentrix preferred

Medical/dental office experience preferred but willing to train the right personality

Job Type: Full time, the practice is open Mondays and Wednesdays 8am-5pm and Tuesdays and Thursdays 7am-4pm.
