TITLE: REGISTRAR (HS)
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent, minimum 2 years of college preferred.
- Knowledge of current office practices and procedures, computer software, and computer/office equipment.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
- Demonstrate exemplary interpersonal skills, and communicate clearly and distinctly in person and on the phone.
- Proficient in use of technology related to job function.
- Professional demeanor.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Experience as a school registrar or with maintenance of a large number of electronic files.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all staff and the public.
- Demonstrate proficient use of the English language in written and oral forms.
- Willingness to learn new duties and technology skills as required.
- Self-directed and self-motivated in job related tasks.

Responsibilities
- Maintain student academic records in an accurate and timely fashion.
- Register new and returning high school students.
- Provide a transcript as designated per the request of the student/parent(s).
- Organize work flow and collaborate with parents, students and staff.
- Organize, file, and maintain student records.
- Maintain an orderly work area.
- Take the initiative to provide prompt, courteous service when visitors request information or assistance.
- Exhibit a positive and friendly attitude and project a positive image of the district to parents, students and staff.
- Maintain confidentiality of student records and information and demonstrate ethical, professional conduct.
- Perform other tasks and responsibilities assigned.
