Job Description:
The Supply Chain Leader is responsible for managing the Purchasing functions and logistics at the BU/site level. This includes overseeing the purchasing of direct/indirect materials, capital goods, and equipment, while ensuring cost-effective procurement and quality control. The role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives and support growth strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute an annual Purchasing Management Plan aligned with the Business Unit’s Strategic Supply Chain Plan.
Implement process improvements to support growth, reduce operating expenses, and manage inventory.
Develop inventory strategies to maximize turns and support manufacturing needs.
Collaborate with manufacturing and quality teams on outsourcing and insourcing.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives with suppliers (cost reduction, quality, lead-time reduction).
Manage purchasing activities to ensure timely, cost-effective procurement of materials and services.
Approve purchase requisitions, orders, and invoices within authority limits.
Monitor and control department costs, ensuring adherence to budget.
Maintain high ethical standards and promote a professional department atmosphere.
Key metrics include: Cost savings, Supplier On-Time Delivery (OTD), Inventory Turns, PPV, DPPM
Education & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in a related field (MBA preferred). CPM or CPIM certification a plus.
5-7 years of experience in purchasing fabricated, machined components, and assemblies, with supervisory experience.
Strong project management, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

The approximate compensation range for this position is $90 - $130k between base compensation and variable incentive. This figure is not inclusive of benefits. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as geographic location of the position.
