What you’ll actually do:
- You will be the quarterback for all operations for this 15-person company.
- This is a hybrid role between a purchasing manager, operations manager, and customer service manager. The glue that holds everything together.
- Supply chain management between customers and vendors. Managing the supply chain for internal and external warehouses and communicating/managing the operations and processes with customer service and sales to ensure they are as seamless as possible.
- Reviewing and analyzing sales and usage pipeline next to the budget to help project for future business.
- Managing the customer service team and leading weekly one-on-ones.
- Vendor management, making sure orders are placed and on track for timely delivery, processing orders, creating PO’s, tracking shipments and keeping customers updated, order confirmations and managing that process as well as being in the weeds with the team, forecasting and demand account management for key accounts and reporting for all these areas and presenting to leadership.
- Oversight of warehouse operations, managing stock, and working closely with one warehousing employee who handles stocking and receiving.
- Ensuring scheduled shipments leave the facility on time.
- Collaborating with sales and assisting with quoting as needed.
- Tracking CRM activity and monitoring for accuracy.
- Bi-weekly meetings with all teams.
To be successful, you’ll need:
- Must be able to navigate Excel at an intermediate to advanced level, including pivot tables, V-LOOKUPS, and formulas, to name a few functions.
- 3 years in a related operations or supply chain-centric role.
- Ability and interest to wear multiple hats and not remain in one lane.
- Strong leadership skills.
- Previous management or supervisory experience required.
- Entrepreneurial spirit, strong work ethic, no drama.
Where and how much:
- Windsor, in office
- Schedule is 7:30a - 4:30p, Monday through Friday - flexibility needed to stay later or come in earlier occasionally if needed
- Average hours per week are 40-45
- Salary Range: $70k - $80k annually plus bonus (15 - 25% annual bonus calculated based on company and individual performance)
