Starting Wage: $3,284 - $3,940.80 biweekly
Internal Hires: Pay rate will be determined based on applicable personnel rule or union contract terms.
Job Summary
This position will provide direction to front line staff, requiring the ability to lead, motivate, and direct the activities of a large staff. The incumbent must possess the interpersonal skills necessary to effectively deal with all levels of hospital personnel, third party payors, patients, etc. and work together as a team. It is the responsibility of this position, with assistance from the PAS Director, to hire, train, schedule and evaluate Patient Access Services staff. This position will fill in for the Director of Patient Access Services in his/her absence.

Minimum Qualifications For The Job
- Education: High School diploma or the equivalent.
- Certification(s): Must obtain CHAA certification within one year through the National Association of Healthcare Access Manager (NAHAM).
- Experience: Three (3) years’ experience in Patient Access Services or a similar role such as healthcare/clinic administrative experience.
- Substitutions: Associate degree in Healthcare related field and one (1) year of management experience in any area (healthcare preferred).
