The company is in search of a Finance & Accounting Manager, based in Las Vegas, to manage the accounting and finance for various shows in the company’s portfolio.
Compensation: Competitive compensation package, comprised of salary, and bonus incentives. Salary is commensurate with experience. Pay range: $75,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year.
Reporting: Reports to Chief Financial Officer
Responsibilities:
§ Key participant in the periodic financial close process and related management reporting
§ General ledger accounting, including booking of operating cash and payroll transactions
§ Maintain accruals, vouching schedules, and balance sheet rollforwards
§ Complete monthly cash/ledger reconciliations
§ Maintain fixed asset module and monthly D&A calculations
§ Reconcile show, event, and tour settlements
§ Assist with external audits and tax return preparation
§ Review, monitor, and manage budgets
§ Provide reports and analysis to senior management, show principals, and shareholders on accounting and finance issues, as needed.
Job Requirements:
§ Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
§ 5 years of progressive General Ledger accounting experience, with strong proficiency in GAAP
§ Advance working knowledge of Microsoft office suite of products, particularly Excel
§ QuickBooks experience a must
§ Experience on live entertainment shows or touring is a plus
§ Strong written and verbal communication skills required
§ Self-starter, detail-oriented, and deadline-focused, with ability to work and excel in a multi-faceted fast-paced environment
§ Professional demeanor required
