In this paid internship you will use technical and economic skills to evaluate construction of advanced reactors. You will help use and expand the capabilities of INL developed tools used to estimate costs of new reactor builds. Reporting to the Data Science and Applied Statistics group. This team works a 9x80 schedule, and works onsite at our Idaho Falls campus. Start date and duration of internship vary based on project and student availability. You may be eligible for course credit for this internship if approved by your university.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements :
Doctorate Degree Program enrolled full time at an accredited college / university studying Nuclear Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering or related field
A minimum overall 3.0 GPA
Authorization to work in the U.S. (including CPT and OPT)

Compensation and Benefits :
- Masters Internships and PhD Internships Pre-Candidacy ($31.75 / hour - $34.06 / hour)
PhD Internships Post-Candidacy ($33.75 / hour - $36.06 / hour)
Eligible interns are provided paid holiday time off, and many of our internships offer travel reimbursements.
