SUMMARY
Performs customer service and clerical duties in the Administrative Services Office as assigned by administration.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Other duties may be assigned.
- Answer and forward telephone calls.
- Greet and direct customers and students, with a focus on exceptional customer service.
- Communicates announcements to staff and students on a daily basis.
- Participate as a member of a team to assist with problem solving situations as they relate to students and/or Career Center needs.
- Schedule all field trips and transportation needs (including CTSO travel support as needed.)
- Support with CTEIS data collection/CIP Self Review/CLNA.
- Submission of work orders as needed/communication with IT and custodial teams for building needs.
- Backs up the purchase order process if needed.
- Assists in room scheduling and event set-up.
- Responsible for duties relevant to the development, distribution, and filing of purchase orders.
- Coordinate with curriculum supervisor and instructors all communication with advisory committees, including scheduling meetings and editing and distributing meeting minutes.
- Performs typing assignments/correspondence and assists in various clerical projects as necessary for staff or as directed by administration.
- Creates and maintains informational documents and forms for internal use.
- Greets, signs in and assists substitutes.
- Assists staff in requesting substitutes when needed.
- Coordinates the parking permit system for students and staff.
- Backs up other office professional work as needed.
- Assists with providing the office co-op a positive learning experience.
- Proficient in Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Gmail, Calendar) and Microsoft Suite with the ability to create, edit and format documents efficiently.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced office environment.
- Be present in buildings with regular and continued attendance and punctuality.
- Follow all Board Policies, Staff Handbook and Administrative Guidelines.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma or equivalent with a minimum of three (3) years clerical experience.
30 credit hours in related field or CPS, preferred. Previous Skyward and CTEIS experience, preferred.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to calculate figures and amounts. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Valid Driver’s License required.
