What is the job?

Our Inside Sales/Quoting Specialists work with our Outside Sales team to ensure all aspects of a job are set up in the Bolt system, documents extracted, projects are quoted and estimated correctly, so that jobs that are won can be handed off to Project Management for efficient and effective preparation and ordering. This role requires a balance of construction and electrical knowledge as well as a detail oriented mindset, to ensure all aspects of a job are captured. A significant part of this role will be spent working in our CRM system.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Setting up projects and customers in our CRM system
• Downloading and extracting the required plans and specifications for quoting of the project and setting them up in the CRM folder
• Review meetings to go over plans and specifications with Outside Sales in order to determine best way to quote the project
• Create quotes in QuickPack
• Request quotes from vendors
• Create cost sheets and quote letters
• Strategy meetings to finalize the quote so it can be sent to customers
• Keeping quotes updated to keep pricing
• Scrub meetings after projects are sold to make sure they have all the right equipment so it can be sent to the project management team
• Handoff meetings so Project Coordinators can get the financial and submittal process going

The position requires:

• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum of 1-3 years work experience, especially with Customer Service, Mechanical/Electrical, Construction, or Generator experience
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical requirements and plans, governmental regulations or project specifications and plans in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
• Excellent computer skills
• Effective time management skills
• Detail oriented individual

This position will be based in our Galt office to allow for collaboration between team members

• Competitive Rate: Pay range for this role is $25 - $36 per hour, dependent upon experience
