We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Front Desk Supervisor to join our team at Bay Paws Pet Resort. Responsibilities

Leadership:

  • Train and guide the Front Desk team to ensure the highest standards of customer service and pet care are provided.
  • Oversee and manage your team, which will involve providing recommendations and input for promotions, performance recognition, performance reviews, and progressive counseling.
  • Collaborate with management to implement the most efficient processes and care practices.
  • Lead by example in professionalism and accountability to motivate staff and foster a high-performing work environment.

General Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all new clients are onboarded properly.
  • Check daily daycare, grooming, and boarding schedules to ensure they are properly booked.
  • Verify all orders are processed correctly and reconcile those that are unprocessed or incomplete.
  • Work with management to identify sales goals and methods to meet them. This includes conducting outreach, up-selling services, facilitating events, and more.
  • Communicate with pet parents regarding their pet’s services in a timely manner.
  • Address customer issues and complaints to the best of your ability before deferring to management.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in the hospitality or pet care industry.
  • Passion for working with pets and their families.
  • Supervisory or team lead experience with training and on-boarding responsibilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, based on business needs.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of animal behavior, body language, and basic care practice.
  • Experience with PetExec.
  • Marketing/sales experience.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.50 - $17.50 per hour
