Job Title: Physical Therapist (PT) - Home Health
BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist to provide high-quality patient care in the comfort of clients' homes.
About the Role:
- This is an ongoing opportunity with regular working hours, allowing you to establish strong relationships with clients and their families.
- You will work as an integral member of a multi-disciplinary healthcare team, collaborating with nurses and other professionals to deliver comprehensive care.
- We are looking for a motivated Physical Therapist with excellent communication skills and a passion for delivering personalized patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Make home visits to clients, assessing their physical abilities and developing tailored treatment plans.
- Conduct diagnostic tests and measurements to evaluate patients' mobility, strength, and endurance.
- Implement evidence-based interventions, including manual therapeutic exercises and gait training, to promote optimal patient outcomes.
- Educate clients and their families on rehabilitative techniques and strategies to enhance their independence and quality of life.
- Maintain accurate records of patient progress, treatments, and evaluations using our state-of-the-art touch pad tablet.
Requirements:
- A current NJ Physical Therapist license is required.
- Minimum one year of recent work experience as a Physical Therapist.
- Graduation from a program approved by the American Physical Therapy Association or the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation of the American Medical Association.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Solid computer skills, with prior experience with electronic medical records (EMR) preferred.
