Job Title: Speech Language Pathologist
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Speech Language Pathologist to provide home health visits in York County, PA. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in home care as a Speech Language Pathologist and be able to assess, diagnose, and provide therapeutic interventions for clients with speech, language, communication, or swallowing difficulties.
Responsibilities:
- Make home visits to clients in designated geographic territories.
- Perform thorough evaluations to assess, diagnose, and provide therapeutic interventions.
- Develop treatment plans based on evaluation results and physician's orders.
- Continually assess and revise the speech therapy care plan.
- Educate patients, family members, or representatives in rehabilitative care and activities necessary to promote independent living.
Qualifications:
- A current license as a Speech Language Pathologist in PA.
- Possess a certificate of clinical competence in speech from the American Speech and Hearing Association, or equivalent educational requirements and work experience.
- Solid computer skills; prior experience with electronic medical records (EMR) preferred.
