A highly skilled Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) is sought by BAYADA Home Health Care to provide ongoing home health visits in Adams County, PA. As a valued member of our multidisciplinary healthcare team, you will work collaboratively with clinicians to deliver rehabilitative care and skilled nursing services to clients, empowering them to receive the necessary medical attention to remain at home.
Responsibilities of a Speech Language Pathologist include making home visits to assess, diagnose, and provide therapeutic interventions for clients experiencing speech, language, communication, or swallowing difficulties. You will develop treatment plans based on evaluations, physician orders, and recommended goals, continually assessing and revising care plans as needed. Additionally, you will educate patients, family members, or representatives on rehabilitative care and activities promoting independent living.
The ideal candidate will possess a current license as a Speech Language Pathologist in PA, along with a certificate of clinical competence from the American Speech and Hearing Association or equivalent educational requirements. Solid computer skills, particularly experience with electronic medical records (EMR), are also preferred.
