Location: Behavioral Hlth King Helie Adult
Status: PRN, Exempt: No
Shift Hours: 8am -4pm
Weekend Work: Occasional
On Call: No
Responsibilities - Outreach Prevention Facilitator:
- Plays a crucial role in promoting and implementing effective health and safety initiatives for our community.
- Uses a variety of methods to create effective campaigns, such as facilitating presentations, providing resources to the public, and conducting data-driven research.
- Responsible to develop, implement, and manage evidenced-based programs that effectively prevent alcohol, tobacco, and other drug use.
- Serves as a resource to parents and district, school sites, and community agency staff related to county prevention/intervention resources.
- Will perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
- Extensive travel is required.
Experience:
- Preferred: Previous experience working with substance use related issues.
- Preferred: 1 year of Behavioral Health related experience.
Education:
- Required: Bachelor's Degree
- Required: Human Services Specialization
Credentials:
- Required: Basic Life Support
- Required: Driver's License
