What We Are Looking For
Baylor University is seeking an Graduate Program Coordinator within the Computer Science Department at the School of Engineering and Computer Science.
A Bachelor’s Degree and at least one year of relevant work experience is required. A Master’s Degree and three years of relevant work experience is preferred.
Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
What You Will Do
- Work with current graduate students:
- Manage and advise students on courses, registration, and progress towards graduation
- Manage graduate student payroll (budgets, labor distributions, work with ECS business manager)
- Enter petitions for students Submit forms for degree completion Send reminders of important deadlines
- Manage student resources (lab space, computer assignments)
- Faculty support:
- Take meeting minutes
- Send reminders of important deadlines
- Manage curricular and catalog updates
- Administrative support for grants that support graduate students
- Interface with Baylor’s graduate school
- Attend and participate in New Grad Student Orientation Prospective graduate students
- Track applications
- Respond to queries from prospective students and Baylor's Graduate School
- Perform all other duties as assigned to support the mission of Baylor University
- Comply with University policies
- Maintain regular and punctual attendance
