We are a 24/7 facility therefore one must be able to work weekends and holidays as required. All applicants are required to complete and pass a drug screening, physical exam with tuberculosis (TB) skin test, and criminal clearance through FBI and Department of Justice. The background search includes minor misdemeanors and DUIs.

GENERAL SUMMARY:
Under the general direction of the Executive Chef, the Expeditor ensures the quality and proper presentation of the food in a timely manner. Food orders are prepared and assembled quickly according to recipes and procedures to avoid waste. Line is always stocked, neat, clean and safe.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Plate presentations: correctly set up according to POS tickets for all food. Following pars accurately, and completing daily/weekly cleaning and maintenance of all equipment. Follows hold time standards for all food products.
Window: Reads tickets, pulls product from window in order specified on POS ticket, calls side items and any special instructions, coordinates and communicates with grill cooks. Sometimes preps food items needed immediately on kitchen line. Always cautious of lead ticket time.
Ensures proper placement: of side items on plate while noting any special instructions. Follows proper hold time standards for all heated products and all cold products.
Garnish and presentation: Confirms proper placement of product, side items and any special instructions, changes plates and/or wipes excess fluids from plate and garnishes, places order in expo window in proper order according to POS ticket.
Maintain cooking line in a clean, sanitary and safe manner.
Stock/restock items on line according to specifications.
Wash and clean raw food products.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
Ability to read, write and speak in the English language in order to read orders on POS tickets and communicate effectively with staff.
Judgment and planning skills to make decisions for preparations.
Possess a sense of urgency, attention to detail and quality, able to function in high volume multi-tasking environment, team player.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
Minimum education required: Serve-safe certified, demonstrable knowledge of HACCP and procedures, culinary training and experience preferred.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORKING CONDITIONS:
Work indoors
must be able to stand/walk up to 100% of the work day.
Work is moderate, involving frequent lifting of objects weighing up to ten (10) pounds. Occasional lifting of heavy equipment or food supplies, weighing up to fifty (75) pounds or more.
Considerable walking, bending, reaching, twisting, lifting, shaking, stirring, pouring, carrying, pushing and stooping.
Exposed to industrial cleaning chemicals, high temperatures, extreme cold, smoke, humidity, steam, cooking odors, and wet floors.
May be subjected to tight spaces in the kitchen.
May be subjected to moderate noise levels.
Essential hand/eye coordination. Substantial repetitive motion of the wrists, hands and fingers.
Hazards may include, but are not limited to, cuts from knives, slipping, tripping falls and burns.

Frequent washing of hands and frequent contact/immersion of hands in water and sanitation solutions.
