Accounts Payable Coordinator/ Office Manager
Position Overview: We’re looking for a driven Accounts Payable (AP)/Office Manager to join our team! We are a general contractor in the Longmont, CO area taking commercial, marine, residential and environmental projects. The ideal candidate would be an Accounts Payable or Office Manager, possibly from a construction background, that has helped support human resource (HR) duties. In addition, this position will handle our regular office operations, maintaining files, and assisting with onboarding new employees.
Responsibilities:
- Accounts Payable:
- Maintain and updating our accounts payable ledger.
- Work with the accounting department to ensure the AP ledger’s accuracy.
- Receiving and processing invoices: Ensure invoices are accurate and complete; and match them to purchase orders and subcontracts.
- Paying vendors: scheduling checks for payment.
- Verifying documentation: Verify federal ID numbers and other documentation.
- Process and maintain Lien Waivers in accordance with our company’s established policies and procedures.
- Resolving discrepancies: Resolve issues with purchase orders, contracts, invoices, or payments.
- Garnishment processing- Assisting the HR department with garnishment processing by following the established policies and procedures.
- Assist the HR department with:
- New employee onboarding- by running and maintain E-verify, giving drug tests to new employees, recording and filing results, submitting employee background checks and filing with the HR department.
- Employment Verification- completing employment verification in accordance with our established company protocols.
- Unemployment Verification- completing unemployment verification in accordance with our established company protocols.
- Answer phones in a polite and courteous manner.
- Greet walk-in customers, appointments and applicants politely and courteously.
- Identifying opportunities: Look for opportunities to save money, such as discounts on products or services.
Requirements:
- Ability to type at least 45 words per minute.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Job Type: Full-time
Schedule: 8AM-5PM, Monday-Friday
Pay: $48,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year, depending on experience (DOE)
