Job Overview

A prominent law firm seeks a junior litigation associate to join its Product Liability, Mass Torts & Class Actions group and Proposition 65 practice in San Francisco, CA. This position involves handling complex litigation matters with opportunities for professional growth and collaboration. Hybrid work flexibility is offered.

Duties

  • Handle litigation cases in product liability, consumer class action defense, and Proposition 65 matters.
  • Conduct legal research, draft motions, pleadings, and other court documents.
  • Provide consumer product regulatory counseling.
  • Manage complex commercial and consumer litigation cases.
  • Collaborate with team members to provide strategic litigation support.

Requirements

  • 1-4 years of litigation experience, preferably with an AmLaw 100 firm or equivalent.
  • Experience in Proposition 65, consumer class actions, and related regulatory matters is preferred.
  • California state court experience and federal clerkship are advantages.

    • Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

    • Certifications

  • Active admission to the California Bar.

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
