BCMC is seeking a highly experienced Senior Test Engineer/Business Analyst for a fast-paced ServiceNow implementation project with a DoD client. The successful candidate will be responsible for using ServiceNow Automated Test Framework (AFT) or Selenium to conduct automated testing activities, defining requirements, and developing and maintaining documentation related to testing and business analysis. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent analytical skills, and experience working with ServiceNow and Continuous Integration/Testing concepts.
This is a Hybrid Position.
Clearance: Must be U.S. Citizen to be eligible for DoD Secret security clearance.
Core Work Hours: 7a-4p Monday – Friday, except Government Holidays
Place of Performance: Falls Church, VA and Remote (within the MD,DC,VA area
Primary Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with ServiceNow subject matter experts (SMEs) to understand the implementation details and scope of the project
- Develop test plans, test cases, and test scripts using ServiceNow ATF and/or Selenium based on requirements and specifications
- Execute test cases and track defects found during testing using ServiceNow
- Work closely with developers, product owners, and stakeholders to identify and prioritize test cases
- Conduct root cause analysis on defects found during testing and provide feedback to the development team
- Conduct performance testing, security testing, and other non-functional testing using ServiceNow ATF as needed
- Develop and maintain test automation scripts and frameworks using ServiceNow ATF
- Implement Continuous Integration/Testing concepts in the ServiceNow implementation project
- Analyze business processes and requirements to identify gaps, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement
- Document and communicate requirements, use cases, and functional specifications to stakeholders and development teams
- Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-up meetings, and sprint reviews
- Create and maintain documentation related to testing, including test plans, test cases, and test scripts using ServiceNow
- Create and maintain documentation related to business analysis, including business requirements, use cases, and functional specifications
- Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders to ensure that business needs are understood and addressed
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- 5 years of experience as a Test Engineer and/or Business Analyst in an Agile development environment
- Experience with testing tools such as ServiceNow ATF, Selenium, JMeter, and TestNG
- Strong familiarity with Continuous Integration/Testing concepts and their application in ServiceNow projects
- Experience with requirements gathering, use case development, and functional specification development
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with DoD clients and familiarity with DoD processes and procedures
- Experience with ServiceNow implementations and familiarity with ServiceNow workflows, integrations, and customization
- Familiarity with ServiceNow Agile modules
- Experience with performance testing and security testing
- ISTQB or other testing certification
Required Certifications: CISSP or COMPTIA Security
