What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cafe Attendant/Cashier position at BE'S Refreshments?
Time for an exciting change? BE’S Refreshments is seeking a Café Attendant/Cashier to join our family!
Schedule: 6:30am-3:00pm, Monday-Friday
Responsibilities:
- Greet all customers in a friendly manner, providing exceptional customer service at all times
- Opening duties include, but are not limited to: brew coffee and place canisters out, wrap and label food items for grab-and-go, fill all condiments, re-stock and rotate chips and soda
- Maintain levels of coffee in canisters and items available in the salad bar
- Run all purchases through the POS register and troubleshoot as needed
- Enter all items into the register with accuracy, recording any issues in writing
- Accountable for accuracy of the till, proving responsible cash handling and providing accurate change
- Set up, maintain, and break down the salad bar daily
- Assist with orders and placing items in their designated areas
- Maintain the appearance and cleanliness of counters and dining areas at all times
- Closing duties include, but are not limited to: bring trays, cups, condiments, and chip rack to the back, clean and rinse the cappuccino machine and coffee canisters, wiping down all tables
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Must have exceptional customer service skills and experience
- Prior cash handling/cashier experience with proven accuracy
- Must have excellent math and counting skills
- Basic computer skills
- Proven ability to work well in a team environment
- Desire and ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to stand and walk the entirety of an 8-hour shift
- Frequent bending, twisting, squatting, pushing and pulling throughout the workday
- Occasional lifting up to 40 pounds
