What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cafe Attendant position at BE'S Refreshments?
Time for an exciting change? Due to our tremendous growth, BE’S Refreshments is seeking a part-time Café Attendant to join our family in Green Bay, Wisconsin! This position will play an integral role in the successful Café operations, providing exceptional customer service to guests at all times and accurately processing all purchases through the cash register.
Hours: Full-time, Monday through Friday from 4:30am until 1:00pm rotating Satudays required (approximately 1-2 per month)
Responsibilities:
- Greet all customers in a friendly manner
- Answer customer's questions and assist in resolving complaints while providing excellent customer service at all times
- Cashier job duties include accurately entering and processing all sales transactions and providing correct change
- Food prep and cook breakfast items on the grill
- Follow strict food safety requirements such as proper storage, food-safe temperatures, and sanitation of surfaces and equipment
- Safe and proper use of all kitchen equipment including knives and grills
- Cleaning and duties including sweeping, mopping, and gargabes
- All other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Must be 18 years of age
- Must be available and able to work the ongoing schedule of every Monday through Friday from 4:30am until 1:00pm required rotating Saturdays
- Cooking experience and knowledge of food safety standards highly preferred
- Proven track record of handling cash responsibly or some prior responsible cash handling experience required
- Must have reliable transportation with an excellent attendance record
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to walk, stand, bend, twist, squat, and reach the entirety of an 8-hour shift
- Ability to lift 25 pounds, up to 50 pounds infrequently
