What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cafe Attendant position at BE'S Refreshments?
Time for an exciting change? Due to our tremendous growth, BE’S Refreshments under Renard’s Catering is seeking a Café Attendant to join our family in Green Bay, Wisconsin! This position will play an integral role in the successful Café operations.
Hours: Full-time, Monday through Friday, 6:30am until 3:00pm
Responsibilities
Food prep of grab-and-go items:
- Cut and weigh vegetables/fruits and other food items
- Assemble wraps and sandwiches
- Package, label, and neatly place grab-and-go items into the coolers for purchase
Serving job duties:
- Take orders and serve customers on the entrée line or the sandwich line
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation at all times by consistently wiping the counters and food trays
- Refill food items and replace containers/trays visible to customers to maintain aesthetic appeal
General job duties:
- Greet all customers in a friendly manner and provide excellent customer service at all times
- Answer customer's questions and provide assistance as needed
- Refill and maintain full stock of soda, food items, and condiments daily including creamer, ketchup, sugar, etc.
- Check dates on all products daily and remove all expired
- Backup cashier - accurately entering and processing all sales transactions and providing correct change
- Follow strict food safety requirements such as proper storage, food-safe temperatures, and sanitation of surfaces and equipment at all times
- Assisting in cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dishes, garbage disposal
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Must be available and able to work all shifts Monday through Friday, 6:30am until 3:00pm
- Experience and dedication to providing exceptional customer service required
- Food prep, kitchen experience, and knowledge of food safety standards preferred
- Experience with cash handling/POS system
- Proven reliability and excellent attendance record
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to walk, stand, bend, squat, twist, and reach above shoulders the entirety of an 8-hour shift
- Ability to lift 25 pounds, up to 50 pounds infrequently
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
