A well-established commercial and industrial plumbing company is seeking an experienced Assistant Project Manager to support large-scale construction projects, primarily focused on schools, hospitals, and industrial facilities . This role involves managing heavy construction renovations and ground-up builds , ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest industry standards. The Assistant Project Manager will work closely with project managers, contractors, and suppliers to oversee project planning, budgeting, scheduling, and execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in managing multiple large-scale commercial plumbing projects , including renovations and new construction for education, healthcare, and industrial sectors .
- Perform detailed take-offs of materials and labor hours to ensure project profitability.
- Analyze vendor proposals and provide logical recommendations.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, superintendents, and external project managers.
