A fantastic client of ours looking for an Accounting Clerk who is eager to step in and make an immediate impact for a temporary opportunity for a fast growing company located in the South Seattle area.
To land this role, you should have a proven capability of being detail oriented, organized and a motivated self-starter.
The Accounting Clerk will be responsible for handling tasks with the Accounting department, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, collections, general ledger and other general accounting duties.
Responsibilities :
- Ensure that supporting documents are provided and are properly reviewed and approved by management personnel (invoices, reports, receipts, etc.)
- Full Cycle Accounts Receivable including invoice preparation and extremely detailed payment application
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations, including being responsible for miscellaneous invoicing – research and identify transactions, coordinate reimbursement as necessary.
- Ensure that supporting details for general ledger accounts are reconciled timely and accurately each month
- Ensure that all Company accounting and finance policies and procedures are adhered to.
- Ensure that all accounting functions are completed timely so that financial statements can be completed and closed according to the published financial close calendar.
- Providing accounting and clerical assistance to the accounting department
- Typing accurately, preparing and maintaining accounting documents and records
