We are looking for a detail-oriented, proactive Payroll Administrator to take full ownership of our payroll processing in a contract-to-hire capacity. In this role, you will be responsible for managing payroll for our core team of 23-24 employees, along with seasonal payroll processing. This is a key position within our organization, requiring accuracy and efficiency in handling payroll for both hourly, salary, and monthly employees.
Key Responsibilities :
- Payroll Processing : Manage bi-weekly payroll for both our core staff and seasonal employees, ensuring accurate calculations for all employees, including hourly, salaried, and monthly pay structures.
- Payroll Tax Compliance : Ensure proper tax calculations for varying pay frequencies and job-cost allocations per boat.
- Garnishments & Deductions : Process wage garnishments and other required deductions in a timely manner.
- Reporting & Reconciliation : Generate, upload, and review payroll reports to ensure accuracy, compliance, and consistency across all payroll cycles.
- Seasonal Adjustments : Manage increased payroll volume during peak seasons and provide cross-training and support during slower months (Nov-Dec).
- System Management : Maintain and optimize payroll processing in Paylocity to improve efficiency and accuracy.
