Position Summary:
An Insurance company is seeking a Senior Investment Accountant to join their team. This role is responsible for managing the investment accounting and reporting functions and operates on a flexible hybrid work schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate accounting records for investment transactions.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual investment reports and reconciliations.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, IFRS, and other relevant accounting standards for investment reporting.
- Analyze investment performance and provide financial insights to management.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements related to investments.
- Reconcile investment accounts, including custodial and brokerage statements.
- Assist in implementing and improving investment accounting policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
- 3 years of accounting experience
- public accounting experience is a plus
- CPA is a plus
