About the Opportunity
Beacon Talent is conducting a confidential search on behalf of a fast-growing AI company specializing in generative AI and high-quality data solutions for AI model training. This company is already working with some of the biggest tech firms in Silicon Valley and is positioned for significant growth.
We are seeking a Sales Director - Data & AI to drive revenue, build strategic partnerships, and close high-value deals ($100K ). This is a unique opportunity to join an early-stage team and make a substantial impact in the rapidly evolving AI industry.
Responsibilities
- Own the full sales cycle, from prospecting and qualifying leads to deal negotiation and closing.
- Develop strategic client relationships by engaging with AI leaders, machine learning teams, and data buyers at top tech companies.
- Sell high-value AI data solutions, positioning the company’s Reinforcement Learning from Human Feedback (RLHF) and Supervised Fine-Tuning (SFT) data services as critical for enhancing AI models.
- Drive business growth by achieving and exceeding revenue targets and expanding the company’s footprint in the AI and ML space.
- Shape go-to-market strategy by collaborating with leadership to refine market positioning, pricing, and sales strategies.
- Lead sales pursuits and large-scale deals by closing complex, multi-service agreements and driving AI-powered transformations for clients.
- Act as an AI thought leader by representing the company at industry conferences, networking events, and client meetings.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in Data & AI sales, ideally in AI model training, AI services, or enterprise data solutions.
- Proven success in closing $100K deals; experience with multi-million-dollar deals is a plus.
- Deep knowledge of AI and ML trends, particularly in Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), RLHF, and domain-specific AI solutions.
- A strong network in AI, ML, and enterprise data, with experience selling to AI research teams, product managers, and data buyers.
- Experience with large-scale sales pursuits, having successfully managed complex AI or data service deals, preferably over $20M.
- The ability to build and execute a strategic sales plan with a focus on long-term partnerships and revenue growth.
- Excellent negotiation and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate AI-driven solutions and ROI to executive-level clients.
- A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (12 years in relevant fields).
