About the Role
- Location: Hoboken, NJ
- Schedule: Both Full-Time and Part-Time positions available. For Full-Time, Five days per week, selected from Monday-Friday (9 am - 6 pm) and occasional Saturdays (8 am - 3 pm). Exact schedule to be determined upon hiring.
As a Clinical Assistant, you will play an essential role in patient care, supporting the dental team and ensuring a seamless experience for our young patients and their families.

Compensation:
Entry-Level: $38,000 - $44,000
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- No prior dental experience required
- Strong interpersonal communication skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced environment
- Ideal for individuals interested in healthcare, dentistry, or customer service who are seeking an entry point into a rewarding career with opportunities to grow
Intermediate-Level: $44,000 - $52,000
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (healthcare, administration, hospitality, psychology, business, communication, education, marketing); OR
- Certification in dental or medical assisting with 1 years of experience in a dental or medical clinic (X-ray license required). If certification is not held, at least 2 years of experience in a dental or medical clinic is required; OR
- 3 years of experience in hospitality or customer-facing roles, with a focus on delivering exceptional service.
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment.
- Positive attitude and ability to work independently after training is completed.
- Eager to learn and grow within a supportive team, with potential for future advancement.
Senior-Level: $52,000 - $56,000 (Note: There is currently no open senior-level position, but we are always interested in meeting exceptional candidates with these qualifications)
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field (healthcare, administration, hospitality, psychology, business, communication, education, marketing) or certification in dental or medical assisting; AND
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a dental or medical clinic, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or leadership role (Dental radiology license is required); OR
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in hospitality or customer-facing roles, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Proven ability to lead and mentor junior staff, enhancing clinic efficiency and ensuring high-quality patient care.
- Strong organizational, multitasking, and communication skills, with the capability to independently troubleshoot and resolve issues.
- Demonstrated commitment to contributing to the clinic's long-term success and goals.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the dentist chairside during procedures, ensuring patient comfort and efficiency in treatments
- Take and develop dental radiographs (Digital & PSP) with precision and care
- Maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness throughout the clinic, ensuring all areas are sanitized and organized
- Sterilize instruments and adhere strictly to infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff
- Manage, track, and order dental supplies to ensure the clinic is always well-stocked and prepared for daily operations
- Engage with patients and families to provide a welcoming and reassuring atmosphere, answering questions and addressing concerns
- Coordinate with the dental team to ensure seamless patient flow and an organized schedule
- Assist with administrative duties, including scheduling appointments or verifying insurances
- Support marketing strategies, including community outreach, social media marketing, and school visits to promote the clinic’s services
