What are the responsibilities and job description for the Ranch Hand/Laborer position at Bear Creek Equestrian Center?

Duties:
WORK DAYS ARE TUESDAY, WEDNESDAY, THURSDAY AND FRIDAY
-Feeding and watering horses at noon, 4pm and 9pm. You can clean all stalls and strip 2 stalls anytime that day. You can come and go through out the day. As long as horses get fed on time and as long as the other tasks for the day get completed. Depending on weather, you'll rotate horses from turnout pens to their stalls. Blanket and unblanket. Open and close their stall windows. Minor repairs around the barn. Doctor horses wounds. Look them over daily to ensure they are safe and healthy. Maintain cleanliness and organization of barn and equipment.
Qualifications:
- Experience working with horses and knowledge of basic horse care practices
- Strong animal handling skills, ensuring the safety of both the groomer and the horse
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Attention to detail in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the barn area
- Physical stamina to handle the demands of the job, including lifting heavy objects and working outdoors in various weather conditions
