What are the responsibilities and job description for the Project Development Coordinator position at Beaufort County South Carolina?
The purpose of this position is to coordinate submittal and review of projects, develop schedules and procedures to ensure employees and other departments maintain the schedule. This class works under general supervision, independently developing work methods and sequences.
The essential functions listed below are those that represent the majority of the time spent working in this class. Management may assign additional functions related to the type of work of the class as necessary.
- Processes Staff Review Team submittals and coordinate reviews.
- Prepares project schedules and procedures.
- Processes office purchases and invoices.
- Reviews and processes project invoices and change orders.
- Reviews submittals and determines completeness.
- Enter projects into the Project Management Dashboard and related Software.
- Prepares and distributes agendas and minutes.
- Maintains the Development Project Dashboard and website.
- Performs related work as assigned.
MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
- Requires an Associate’s degree, vocational technical degree or specialized training that is equivalent to satisfactory completion of two years of college education.
- Over two years and up to and including four years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
