Job Summary
Responsible for collaborating with BPMI supplier security in the management of all security-related projects, programs and requirements across our key suppliers. Provide project management and overall leadership, coordinating the efforts of all stakeholders in the implementation of new DoD/DoE classification requirements and / or physical/cyber/IT security requirements, Serve as the department liaison to other BPMI stakeholders for all security related activities.
Specific responsibilities include:
- Execute and drive implementation of DoD/DoE security requirements and/or project management of Information Technology/infrastructure upgrades at our key suppliers.
- Develop Implementation plans for DOE directives.
- Develop, negotiate, and manage the invocation of security requirements into affected contracts.
- Assess the cost and labor hours of supplier technical proposals to ensure that implementation plans are commensurate with the level of work to be performed.
- Prepare required contract security documents as needed for incorporation into contracts.
- Assist in identification of security deficiencies and violations, their correction, issuance of corrective action requests and final resolution.
- Directly support implementation of new security requirements, including programs such as Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) and others.
- Serve as the primary point of contact to other BPMI stakeholders all required engagements and requests for information on changing security requirements.
- Perform other duties, special projects, or related non-essential functions, as assigned.

Minimum Job Requirements
- BS/BA in Business Management/Administration or Engineering or equivalent from an accredited college or university.
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
- Requires a security clearance, however all qualified candidates will be considered regardless of their current clearance status. The ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Energy security clearance is required.
Preferred Job Requirements
- Five (5) years of relevant experience in security and/or project management of Information Technology/infrastructure upgrades with at least 2 years in Security/Project Management/Procurement.
