Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Office Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our farm by managing various administrative tasks. As an Office Administrator, you will be the first point of contact for employees, clients and visitors, making your role essential in creating a positive impression of our organization.
Responsibilities
- Manage phone systems and handle incoming calls with professionalism and courtesy, demonstrating strong phone etiquette.
- Assist with human resources tasks, including onboarding new employees and maintaining personnel files.
- Perform basic accounting tasks such as invoicing and expense tracking.
- Participate in budgeting processes by tracking expenses and providing reports as needed.
- Develop and maintain organizational systems to enhance office efficiency.
- Communicate effectively with employees and vendors to provide updates and address inquiries.
- Manage payroll and ensure all employees are paid correctly and on time.
- Reports directly to the Director of Operations and will assist with all assigned tasks.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in an administrative role or similar position is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience with calendar management tools.
- Basic knowledge of Invoicing or accounting software is desirable.
- Understanding of human resources processes is beneficial but not required.
- Competent with Microsoft Office; Outlook, Excel & Word
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
