Cashier/Customer Service/Floor Associate

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Customer Service Associate / Cashier/ Floor Associate join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional service while efficiently handling transactions. Your ability to create a welcoming atmosphere and assist customers with their needs will be essential to our success in delivering a positive shopping experience.

Duties

• Greet customers warmly and provide assistance as needed throughout their shopping experience.
• Operate the cash register accurately, processing sales transactions and handling cash, credit, and debit payments.
• Maintain knowledge of store products and promotions to effectively assist customers in making informed purchasing decisions.
• Stock shelves and ensure product displays are organized and visually appealing.
• Assist in supervising staff, ensuring adherence to company policies and promoting a collaborative team environment.
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Perform basic math calculations for sales transactions and inventory management.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the grocery store environment.

Requirements

• Previous experience in customer service or retail sales is preferred, particularly in a grocery store setting.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse customers.
• Basic math skills for cash handling and retail math calculations.
• Bilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with a broader customer base.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Experience with stock management and merchandising is advantageous.
• A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn are essential traits for success in this role.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $12.00 - $16.00 per hour
