Director of Food & Beverage – Beech Mountain Resort
Beech Mountain Resort is seeking an experienced Director of Food & Beverage to oversee all aspects of food and beverage operations across multiple venues, including 5506', The Lodge, The Brewhouse, and the Taproom & Grill. This leadership role is responsible for managing a dynamic team of up to 100 employees during peak season, ensuring seamless operations across multiple facilities while maintaining the highest standards of guest service, quality, and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities

* Oversee all food and beverage operations, ensuring smooth coordination across multiple venues. * Develop and implement operational strategies that enhance guest experience, employee engagement, and financial performance. * Manage and lead a high-volume team, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management. * Ensure exceptional service standards and maintain strong relationships with guests, vendors, and resort departments. * Oversee menu development, purchasing, and cost control to optimize profitability. * Monitor financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting. * Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation regulations and maintain a minimum “A” sanitation rating in all facilities. * Collaborate with the resort events team to execute successful food and beverage experiences for a variety of events.
Qualifications & Skills

*Proven leadership experience in food and beverage management, resort operations, or high-volume hospitality environments. *Strong background in both front-of-house and kitchen operations. *Exceptional people management skills, with experience leading large teams in a fast-paced environment. *Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and multitasking abilities. *Proficiency in ordering, inventory management, and financial controls. *Strong knowledge of point-of-sale systems, scheduling software, and Microsoft Office. *Ability to collaborate across departments to ensure a seamless guest experience. * ServSafe certification is required.
