What are the responsibilities and job description for the Operations Coordinator position at Behrens & Associates, Inc.?
Responsibilities:
- Track and maintain all administrative requirements of contracts and subcontractors in order to comply with administrative and record keeping obligations and to maintain accurate and compliant transaction files, budgeting, project tracking and customer follow-up.
- Forecast and schedule equipment, logistics, and lodging as required for upcoming projects.
- Assist with tracking and forecasting inventory requirements.
- Coordinate internal and external resources to ensure that projects adhere to scope, schedule, and budget.
- Develop and maintain partnerships with third-party resources, including vendors.
- Establish and maintain relationships with relevant client stakeholders, providing day-to-day contact on project status and changes.
- Monitor and track project’s progress, coordinating internal and external resources as needed to ensure that projects remain within scope, schedule, and budget.
- Maintain project tracker timely and accurately, including all change orders, project invoicing, etc.
- Back-up administrative duties when needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Associates degree or higher in business or construction management or related field required. PMP, PgMP, CAPM, and/or comparable project management certifications preferred.
- 3 years of administrative, operations, or project coordination experience in a construction environment with prevailing wage experience preferred.
- Excellent verbal/written communication skills and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to manage multiple projects at once and meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Ability to drive company vehicle/personal vehicle for business related purposes as needed.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
