What are the responsibilities and job description for the Landscape Crew Member position at Belknap Landscape Company, Inc.?
We are seeking dedicated individuals who are enthusiastic about crafting stunning landscapes and delivering top-notch service to our valued clients. We have full-time and Seasonal Landscape Crew Member positions available.
Our Landscape construction team builds landscape features such as patios, stone walls, retaining walls, outdoor kitchens and more. They utilize heavy equipment and specialized tools and training to transform outdoor spaces from ordinary to outstanding.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Install hardscapes (patios, steps, walkways, etc.)
- Plantings (trees, shrubs, perennials, etc.)
- Running compact construction equipment (skid steers, excavators and more) (not required at entry level)
- Utilize measurement tools to set grades on worksites or willing to learn to do so
- General landscaping activities
- If applicable snowplowing and shoveling during the winter months
EDUCATION & TRAINING
- Experience in Landscape construction is not required but a plus. We are willing to train the right candidates!
SKILLS & ABILITIES
- Valid Drivers License Required, company will help employees obtain DOT Medical Card
- The ability to pass pre-employment and random drug screenings
- Must be 18 years of age
- A positive attitude and willingness to contribute to your team
- A strong work ethic and demonstrated reliability
PHYSICAL & OTHER REQUIREMENTS
- Regularly exposed to extreme temperatures and various weather conditions.
- Frequently required to lift and carry objects up to 50 pounds, with occasional lifting of items exceeding 50 pounds.
- Often required to reach above and below shoulder level.
- Frequent hand manipulation is needed for grasping, handling objects, and operating controls.
- Frequent bending and squatting, with occasional twisting and kneeling.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
The position may require travel within the designated territory and working in various outdoor environments.
HOURS / SHIFTS
35 – 55 hours per week, Monday through Friday and weekends as needed.
BASE PAY RATE
$20.00-$27.00 per hour.
