Pay Range
- Hourly rate: $29.00 - $39.00 per hour, based on experience.

Responsibilities
As a Shop Service Technician, you will be:
- Assembling and servicing all types of equipment, established Ag Management Solutions (AMS) products, and other merchandise offered for sale by the dealership.
- Performing pre-delivery inspection on all types of equipment and other merchandise offered for sale by the dealership.
- Performing basic and complex diagnostics independently and solving basic and complex technical issues.
- Operating and maintaining vehicles, tools and equipment required in the set-up and delivery process.
- Following all safety rules and regulations in performing work assignments.
- Completing all reports and forms required in conjunction with job assignments.
- Accounting for all time and material used in performing assigned duties.
- Participating in Service Education Training programs required for the development of skills and knowledge.
- Participating in the on-call program.
- Maintaining a clean work area and performing work in a neat and orderly fashion.
- Following all safety rules, policies, and procedures.
- Other duties as assigned.
Experience, Education, Skills, and Knowledge
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- 4 – 7 years experience (or equivalent) performing service repairs.
- Supplied with own tools, preferred
- Ability to operate vehicles, tools, and equipment used in machinery pre-delivery and set-up processes.
- Ability to assemble machinery components and to follow the manufacturer’s pre-delivery instructions.
- Ability to use Service Advisor and basic computer functions.
- Ability to maintain labor performance and billable hours according to Service Leaders.
- Knowledge of John Deere and competitive equipment as well as technology trends/advancements is a plus.
- Sound knowledge of engines, hydraulics, power-trans, air-conditioning, and electrical systems as they apply to machines marketed by the Dealership.
- Ability to life at least 50 pounds repeatedly.
