Job Overview:
Bell Tower is seeking an organized and reliable Bookkeeper to manage and maintain the financial records for our telecommunications tower manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to handle financial transactions accurately. In this role, you will assist in managing day-to-day financial operations, including processing invoices, payroll, and financial reporting, ensuring the financial integrity of the company.

Key Responsibilities:
• Accounts Payable & Receivable: Process accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring that all invoices are accurate, processed on time, and paid or collected according to company policy. Monitor outstanding balances and follow up on overdue payments.
• Financial Transactions: Record financial transactions in the company’s accounting system, ensuring accuracy and completeness. Track expenses related to materials, labor, and other operational costs related to tower manufacturing.
• Bank Reconciliation: Reconcile company bank statements and financial accounts monthly, ensuring that all transactions are recorded accurately and discrepancies are addressed promptly.
• Payroll Processing: Prepare and process employee payroll, ensuring compliance with tax regulations and company policies. Track employee hours, benefits, and deductions.
• Tax Filing Support: Assist with the preparation of tax filings, including sales tax, payroll tax, and other relevant filings, ensuring timely and accurate submission.
• Financial Reporting: Prepare financial reports, such as profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports, providing detailed analysis of the company’s financial health.
• General Ledger Maintenance: Ensure that the company’s general ledger is accurate, balanced, and up to date. Post journal entries and maintain detailed records of all financial transactions.
• Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist in preparing budgets and financial forecasts, working with management to track financial performance and project future expenditures.
• Compliance: Ensure financial practices are in compliance with industry regulations and company policies. Assist with internal and external audits as required.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate and organized financial records, both digital and physical, for easy retrieval and review.

Qualifications:
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting, preferably in a manufacturing, construction, or telecommunication-related industry.
• Skills:
o Strong knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles.
o Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
o Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
o Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
o Strong communication skills for dealing with clients, vendors, and team members.
o Basic knowledge of tax laws and regulations.
• Education: Associate’s degree in Accounting ( degree is a plus), Finance, or related field preferred; or equivalent experience.
• Certifications: Bookkeeping certification (e.g., Certified Bookkeeper or equivalent) is a plus.

• Experience with job costing and understanding of manufacturing cost structures.

Starting pay is listed, but you can anticipate growths in pay with a rapid growing company.
