Job Description
Bellefonte Area School District is accepting applications for the position of an Anticipated Accounting Secretary located in the Administration Office.
Responsibilities of this position include welcoming all incoming visitors and addressing their needs while maintaining confidentiality. This position requires professionally answering and directing District calls in a polite manner. Other duties will include sorting, metering, and distributing mail, recording receipts, bank reconciliations, account analysis and other duties assigned.
Qualifications:
Minimum: High School Diploma
Preferred: Associates Degree in a business related field

Experience:
Minimum: Two years experience in accounting in a public sector
Prefereed: Experience in a public education and governmental accounting.
Must possess computer skills and general business knowledge in accounts payable.
Excel and Microsoft Word are desired.

Work Day: 8:00 am-4:00 pm (7.5 hours/day, half hour unpaid lunch)
