Bellinghome School of Music is a musical hub serving students, talented teachers, musical
families, professional bands and more in Bellingham, WA. We are seeking to hire two Part-Time
Administrative Assistants to join our expanding business. As we grow, we will offer opportunities

The position will primarily be performed on-site, and will include working remotely and at various local
venues for events when needed. Hours will be an expected 22.5 hours per week. Additional hours
may be available as active responsibilities, events, and projects dictate.
This position will manage the reception area and provide high-level administrative and customer
support to all in contact with Bellighome. You will be coordinating with students and parents,
teachers, other admins, and our owner to complete a variety of tasks. You will help with maintaining
policy standards, following and improving procedures, and looking out for opportunities to improve
the company from within. If you are musically minded, enjoy being around kids, like working with
people, and are looking for a fast-paced job with a variety of job duties, this position may be for you!
A suitable candidate will be personable, professional and collaborative in communication, and
diligently willing to learn all aspects of our business. The ideal candidate will possess excellent
customer service skills, be highly organized, and show self-motivation. Qualified applicants will have
a demonstrated ability to respond effectively to changing workloads & priorities, as well as
multitasking during a variety of situations, while remaining positive and energetic. The applicant must
be able to maintain customer / quality focus, accountability, adaptability, communication, and
collaboration as a member of a team while being able to work independently.
Compensation & Hours
Candidates will be hired in accordance with their qualifications and offers will vary on experience.
- Wages :
23 – $25 per hour (depending on experience)
22.5 hours weekly
Standard hours of employment : (2 shifts available)
Monday – Friday : 11 : 30am – 4 : 00pm / 2 : 30pm – 7 : 00pm
Saturdays as needed for recitals and occasional events

Opportunities for extra hours helping with events and projects (maximum of 30 hours per week)
Administrative Duties
The following are the operational day-to-day tasks involved in running of our organization smoothly :
lessons, and late payments.
practice, and rehearsal spaces clean and tidy at all times.

Google Drive, Word Documents, and Excel Spreadsheets
