We are currently recruiting for a Human Resources Business Partner in NYC (Hybrid NYC Midtown office in-office 3 days per week). The HR Business Partner will manage multiple priorities and anticipate team member’s needs. You will be the first point of contact for the HR team, working on all facets of HR and people programs, helping to foster a productive and inclusive environment and exceptional employee experience at every stage of the employee lifecycle. This is a great opportunity to touch all areas of HR including employee relations, talent acquisition, performance and development, culture and engagement, HRIS systems, HR data, and compliance. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of HR experience. The Specialist will report to the VP of HR. Compensation: 100K – 120K Base Benefits Package
Responsibilities:
Talent Acquisition, Performance & Development
- Partner with hiring managers to develop job descriptions, recruiting and sourcing strategies.
- Conduct interviews, manage online postings and background check process, initiating offer letters, and managing new hire workflows.
- Manage pre-employment process, creating an engaging, seamless onboarding experience for new team members, managing communication prior to their start date, and ensuring necessary resources and technology are set up for success.
- Partner with VP of HR to manage performance development process.
- Gather learning needs for the organization and analyze to determine appropriate solutions
- and cost.
- Develop and deliver formal and informal learning events that educate team members on HR processes and how they are used to support the business goals.
- Actively participate in employee relations activities, counseling employee as needed in their career development, issues and aspirations.
- Conduct employee departures and exit interviews
Culture & Engagement
- Partner with VP of HR on to effectively monitor and enhance the employee experience, including conducting surveys, creating and executing on action plans, on and facilitating company-wide events, awards etc...
- Champion Diversity, Equity & Inclusion efforts and promote awareness, and ensure onboarding program support is built and delivered with the priority of creating an inclusive work environment that fosters belonging and allyship.
Systems & Data
- Utilize data analysis and visualization to support people related decision making and projects in support of overall business needs including compensation, benefits, DE&I, engagement, etc.
- Manage HR systems, including HRIS, performance management, engagement, etc., including user management.
- Ensure data integrity of employee data, including entry, processing and auditing.
- Improve HR practices and processes continually, leveraging information systems to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
- Work with Payroll and Benefits Specialist to provide assistance with payroll processing, as necessary.
Compliance
- Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices regulatory changes and new technologies in human resources, talent management and employment law.
- Assist with policy management including updating of employee handbook and general company policies, as needed.
- Maintain accurate and complete employee files and offer solutions to ensure compliance.
- Ensure compliance with company and local legislative policies for recruitment processes.
- Conduct audit and maintain compliance of I-9 Forms.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree required. SHRM or HRCI certification is a plus.
- 3 - 5 years professional experience in Human Resources with experience and/or exposure to talent acquisition, performance and development, employee engagement, DE&I and HRIS.
- Strong knowledge and use of HCM and Payroll Systems; ADP Workforce Now experience a plus.
- Strong MS Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Formula Creation) required.

Salary : $100,000 - $120,000
