Job Overview
This position is responsible for overseeing the accounting, financial reporting, banking, and cash management functions for the companies comprising Belmont Beverage. Ensure finance staff are trained and maintain excellent customer service to internal and external customers and vendors. This includes providing timely and insightful reporting of financial data to various internal management groups and external users.
Duties
· Foster the Company mission and philosophy.
· Serve on the Key Management Committee to discuss policy and Company direction.
· Provide direction and supervision for various accounting functions.
· Provide direction and supervision for physical inventory recordkeeping.
· Provide direction and supervision for payroll processing functions.
· Assist in the design of wage incentives, bonuses, and salaries for the employees.
· Provide direction and supervision for daily cash management.
· Provide direction and supervision for bank and regulatory compliance reporting.
· Develop and maintain systems of internal controls to safeguard financial assets.
· Ensure internal and periodic external financial statements are prepared in accordance with GAAP, with the exception of inclusion of variable interest entities (real estate companies commonly controlled by the owners).
· Analyze and provide insights that result in an improved bottom line for the Company.
· Lead periodic meetings to ensure assigned tasks are being completed timely.
· Ensure regulatory compliance is maintained for Employee Benefit Plans.
· Review and control fixed asset expenditures.
· Recommends benchmarks that will be used to measure the company’s performance.
· Produces the annual budget and forecasts appropriately.
· Assist in minimizing costs for all supply and support areas of the Company.
· Work with owners and lessors to maintain store leases.
· Manage banking relationships to ensure cash/credit is available when needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA designation is preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of financial management experience
- Proven experience in a Controller or similar role within a corporate environment.
- Experience with 100 person company preferred
- Strong knowledge of governmental accounting practices and regulatory reporting requirements.
- Proficiency in financial software systems, POS systems, and advanced Excel skills.
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong leadership abilities with effective communication skills to collaborate across departments.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards.

Pay: $105,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
