YOUR ROLE IN CREATING GERONIMOMENTS
In this role, you’ll be a key part of our team, ensuring that every guest leaves with a lasting impression. Your voice matters here—use it to build the future, make an impact, and continuously improve the guest experience.
As the Groundskeeper, you will carry out all routine golf course maintenance tasks as directed.
WHAT YOUR DAY WILL LOOK LIKE
- Develop and maintain proficiency in all areas of golf course maintenance, including cutting, bunker maintenance, irrigation, drainage, spraying and fertilizing and general tasks such as divot replacement and line trimming
- Develop proficiency in operation of golf course maintenance equipment, including cutting units, carts, utility vehicles, tractors, and tools
- Carry out all maintenance and cultural practices as assigned
- Fill out all product application, repair forms if necessary
- Finish assigned daily tasks
- Maintain cleanliness of all maintenance equipment, shop, shop area, uniform and golf course

Requirements
WHAT IT TAKES TO SUCCEED
- You have the ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- You have the ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively to vendors/suppliers, members, and other employees of the Club
- You are able to operate time-clock
- You have the ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
- You have the ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations
- You have experience in golf course/landscape maintenance
- You have good social skills
- You are capable of extended periods of physical labor and walking long distances
- You are able to work in all types of weather – warm, cold, rain or shine
- You are available to work early mornings and weekend shifts as scheduled
YOU’LL STAND OUT IF YOU BRING
- You have familiarity with the rules and etiquette of golf
PHYSICAL AND MENTAL REQUIREMENTS
- Frequent standing with some walking and sitting at times.
- Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time.
- Be able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift/move 100 pounds.
- Continual use of manual dexterity and gross motor skills with frequent use of bi-manual dexterity and fine motor skills.
MANDATORY REQUIREMENT
- U.S. Work Authorization (required).
