Opportunity:

We are seeking an enthusiastic Metal Fabricator who understands how to get the job done, is a problem solver, and finds ways to overcome hurdles. This new member of the team will be expected to hit the ground running to support our in-house construction and fabrication teams across a variety of ongoing and upcoming projects including our team dedicated to developing engineering solutions for two state-of-the-art wine production facilities in Placer County, CA.

This is a unique experience for a highly motivated and creative individual who is passionate about bringing designs to life through fabrication and construction. Work performed will require layout and fabrication skills, use of metal working equipment, hand and power tools used in fabrication, and assembly.

Job Duties Will Include:

• Conduct layout, cutting, sawing, bending and forming material, measuring and welding, working from blueprints, engineering plans/drawings, sketches and verbal instructions.
• Timely assembly of product and prototypes to meet the necessary quality requirements and time frames to safely complete projects.
• Produce strong, clean welds.
• Ability to use common tools used in metal fabrication including but not limited to welders, band saw, drill press, cutting torch, grinders, horizontal bandsaw.

Job Requirements

• Strong fabrication experience preparing welding assembly for others.
• Ability to layout and assemble project from start to finish.
• Perform diversified weldments.
• Ability to read, interpret, and work from blueprint drawings and specifications, and knowledge of common welding symbols.
• Ability to cut, saw, bend and form material.
• Proficient in use of precision measuring instruments.
• Remain flexible in adjusting to changing priorities and job assignments.

Education and Experience:

• A minimum of five (5) years experience in a fabrication shop or construction related field.
• Current or previous certification in MIG / TIG / Stick a plus.
• Clean driving record and valid CA driver’s license is required.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug test.

Pay Rate:

$30 - $40 per hour - DOE
