Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Supervisor to oversee construction projects and ensure that they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a solid understanding of construction management, and proficiency in relevant software tools. As a Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations on the construction site while supervising a team of workers.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily activities of construction workers on-site.
- Utilize construction management software such as Prolog and Primavera to track project progress and manage schedules.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment for all team members.
- Manage project budgets effectively, ensuring resources are allocated appropriately.
- Build strong relationships with subcontractors, suppliers, and clients to facilitate smooth operations.
- Conduct regular inspections of work performed to ensure quality standards are met.
- Provide training and mentorship to team members to enhance their skills and productivity.
- Troubleshoot any issues that arise during the construction process and implement solutions promptly.
- Prepare reports on project status, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
Requirements
- Proven experience in construction management or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, techniques, and materials.
- Proficiency in construction management software (e.g., Prolog, Primavera).
- Excellent budgeting skills with the ability to manage costs effectively.
- Strong leadership abilities with experience in supervising teams.
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with diverse teams.
- Physical stamina to work on-site in various weather conditions.
- Familiarity with pipeline construction is a plus.
