Position Overview: The school is seeking a dynamic and knowledgeable Middle School Math Teacher to join our team. Key Responsibilities:

Instructional Planning and Delivery:
- Develop and implement lesson plans that align with state standards and district curriculum guidelines.
- Utilize a variety of instructional strategies to meet the diverse learning needs of students, including differentiated instruction and hands-on activities.
- Incorporate technology and other resources to enhance the learning experience and engage students in the subject matter.

- Establish and maintain a positive and productive classroom environment conducive to learning.
- Implement effective classroom management techniques to promote student engagement and minimize disruptions.

- Assess student understanding and mastery of mathematical concepts through formative and summative assessments.
- Use data from assessments to inform instructional decisions and provide targeted support to students who are struggling.
- Communicate student progress to parents, guardians, and school administration regularly.

- Work collaboratively with other teachers, support staff, and administrators to ensure the success of all students.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field.
- Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with a Middle School Math endorsement.
- Experience teaching math at the middle school level is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of mathematical concepts and effective instructional strategies.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and classroom management skills.
