Job Summary
The Licensed Practical Nurse supports the nursing process and functions under the direction of the MD/PA. The Licensed Practical Nurse must adhere to policy and procedure for Berkshire Medical Center and Berkshire Faculty Services clinical services.
Experience
- Experience in specimen testing and physician office experience preferred.
Education and Training
- Graduate of an accredited School of Practical Nursing. Has a thorough knowledge of nursing principles and procedures.
License & Certification
- LPN - Licensed Practical Nurses
- CPR
Other Requirements
- Demonstrates continuing education in accordance with state regulation.
- Data entry skills preferred, working knowledge of Windows based PC applications required.
- Ability to work independently and take direction.
- Self-motivated and ability to be independent and flexible in a team framework.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills demonstrated ability to handle confidential and sensitive information.
Schedule
SEIU Union Position
- Monday-Friday
- 7:30a-430a, 8a-5p variable
- May be required to float to other Berkshire OBGYN locations as needed.
