Job Summary
Primary responsibilities include administrative assistance in facilitating completion of confidential work, coordination and execution of ongoing delivery of care and assistance with coordination of meetings, patient data entry, and patient appointment scheduling. He/she will be responsible for triaging incoming phone calls from LINK LINE as well as updating and maintaining accurate documents.
Experience
- A minimum of four years experience in a supportive health care related role preferred.
- Must function well in a flexible, face paced environment with proven ability to interact personably with patients, physicians, staff and community.
- Demonstrated ability to complete tasks timely and accurately.
Education
- Associates Degree in secretarial science or equivalent work experience preferred.
Additional Requirements
- Ability to function independently utilizing excellent judgment in determining those situations which need to be elevated to supervisor.
- Verifiable ability to interact compassionately and effectively with patients.
- Demonstrated ability to interact with all levels of the organization including the medical community and office staff.
- Must be patient focused and detail oriented with can do attitude.
- Proven ability to develop work systems that allow for efficient completion of daily activities.
- Excellent Microsoft Word, Excel skills required.
- Experience with marketing and coordinating projects
Schedule:
- Temporary position for 3 months
- 7:30am-12:30pm
- Variable Days/ Variable hours based on the needs of the department
- No weekends or holidays
