Purpose of Role:
We are seeking a Transactional Associate Attorney with 3 years of experience to join our client's growing Healthcare Practice Group. This role is a unique opportunity for an attorney looking to work closely with a team of highly regarded healthcare attorneys on sophisticated transactional and regulatory matters. The ideal candidate will have experience working on healthcare transactions, drafting and negotiating contracts, and advising clients on regulatory compliance matters.
Responsibilities:
• Assist in healthcare mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, employment arrangements, management agreements, lease agreements, and other healthcare-related transactions.
• Draft and negotiate a wide range of contracts, including operating agreements, management agreements, employment and independent contractor agreements, purchase agreements, and lease agreements.
• Advise clients on healthcare regulatory compliance, including HIPAA, Anti-Kickback Statute, Stark Law, state corporate practice restrictions, FDA regulations, and other applicable state and federal laws.
• Counsel healthcare providers and professionals on licensing, contract negotiations, and compliance matters.
• Support clients across a diverse range of healthcare sectors, including medical practices, health systems, pharmacies, long-term care facilities, research organizations, and healthcare technology companies.
• Collaborate with partners and senior attorneys to deliver practical, business-minded legal advice to clients.
Qualifications:
• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Admission to practice in New Jersey is required; New York admission is a plus.
• 3 years of relevant transactional experience, preferably with exposure to healthcare clients or healthcare regulatory matters.
• Strong drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and client matters simultaneously.
• Commitment to client service and a desire to grow within a dynamic and fast-paced practice.
Salary : $75 - $100
