About the Role
As an Appliance Installation and Repair Technician, you will travel to customers' homes to diagnose, disassemble, and repair large products. Your goal is to provide exceptional customer service by giving advice on products and services, exceeding customer expectations, and ensuring orders are completed in a timely manner.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare Customers' Products for Repair: Safely transport and prepare appliances for repair at customers' homes.
- Manage Routes and Inventory: Effectively manage routes, part orders, and returns to minimize costs and losses.
- Perform Triage and Manage Client Expectations: Evaluate device issues, communicate with customers, and manage work orders to ensure accurate and timely completion.
- Offer Alternative Solutions: Provide alternative solutions when customers choose not to continue with their repair.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Maintain company vehicles and manage inventory in partnership with other team members.
- Provide Feedback and Training: Share knowledge and best practices with colleagues to improve overall performance.
Basic Qualifications
- Experience: At least 6 months of experience delivering, installing, or repairing consumer electronic products.
- Customer Service: 1 year of experience in a customer service or in-home services environment.
- Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with home theater and appliance products.
- Availability: Ability to work a flexible schedule, including holidays, nights, and weekends.
- Licensure: Current, valid driver's license and ability to maintain a safe driving record.
Preferred Qualifications
- Customer Service Experience: Experience resolving complex customer issues.
